It seems like thats a lot of work for a single person. The effort would probably be better spent on focusing on one blog and making that as good as possible, instead of spreading yourself writing multiple blogs on different topics. That being said, if you're intent on writing multiple blogs about different things, then of course you should migrate to Wordpress MU, it provides you what you want, although not what I'd think would make your blog(s) the most read.
