Bloggers on Christmas 2007

December 26, 2007

Hi everyone. I'm not a Christian and I don't celebrate Christmas by its full meaning. Earlier I share with everyone a collection of Christmas Tips from Open Tips and I hope people enjoy reading them. Now Christmas is over at my time zone but I know it's still 25th Dec in the USA so I decide to write this post to show how bloggers celebrate Christmas for the year 2007, and the past years.

How does this work?

I'm going to update this page to link to the post of bloggers who write about Christmas. Check out the links below to see a sample of how I do it.

You can help me by giving a short paragraph about your Christmas with a link to your post. If you do this by the mean of commenting, please don't forget to put your website URL so that I can properly link to it.

If you participate in discussion on BlogCatalog, please kindly leave your

  1. blog name,
  2. blog URL,
  3. post title and
  4. post URL.

Myself on Christmas 2007

I went out with my girlfriend, her mother, and 2 friends. I'm still in China and I will be here for couple of months more. I found out Chinese don't actually celebrate Christmas, they only decorate for commercial purpose.

Here in Zhuhai, shopping centers decorate with Christmas signs, but homes don't. As normal, I took a lot of photos, and it's time to start sharing even though my flickr account is still intact. Time is limited, so again I can only say, photos are on the way.

The links start from here.

hi Binh. On 24th, it was quiet in the office. Network was down in the morning, and air-cond was not functioning well in the afternoon. damn. at night i met with my college mates in heavy rain for Taiwanese food. When I got home, I received an e-card from my student, thought of some moments in USQ, then I blogged about it.

On 25th, I met with few high school mates. Went to a place where normally I won't go (too crowded). could feel the very "commercialized" xmas season :) later watched a movie by Ann Lee that made me realized something, took a kip and read up some info for my coming Chiang Mai trip.

Sounds dull. but for me, it's ok. I'm not young anymore to have one filled with activities from day to night :)

Hello! Here's the url to (one of) my Christmas posts: http://mumsgotta.com/christmas-eve-in-our-corner-of-the-world/

A family Christmas, with in-laws, aunt & uncle, us and our 6 kids - 12 in all. We celebrate on Christmas Eve in this country, and everyone had a lovely, (relatively) relaxed time. We give out the pressies one by one (we enjoy seeing what everyone gets, and their reactions...), so that took some time with all the kids!
Christmas Day was spent with the in-laws and a lovely turkey lunch. Hubby and I both fell asleep after lunch, I'm ashamed to say...

I'm off to post & link to you now... Holiday Cheers to you!
