Brian Purkiss, I need sync for organizing things such as contacts, calendar and tasks. Without that any phone is just a cellphone for me. I don't use it for multimedia purpose so iPhone is useless without the feature I mentioned.

Kyle, I agree with you. And that's what Brighthand members said too. When that 2.0 come out I wish it will be smaller a little and the price is reduced so I can afford it in my pocket.

You stated things that haven't been released yet. Every single issue you have with it will be more than likely added in the 2.0 update in a few months. The iphone beats the HELL out of the modern day PDA. hands down.

Brian, you dont know much. There are plenty of phones with flash, and java is almost universally supported, even by dumb phones. 3rd party software on the blackberry are almost universally java based.

If your phone is a toy no wonder you would not worry about office support and security.

Why would you want to sync with Office? (;-P I'm a Mac user and hate Microsoft products... they just don't work!)
cut/paste.... I can understand that... it's not a computer though...
multiple selection will come... but again, it's not a computer.
does any other phone do Java or Flash? I can tell you though that there is not another phone with a full built in html browser...
security? hm... never heard that one...

I have messed with Windows Mobile and a Blackberry before.
and I promptly put it down...
It's just so dang confusing!
